PSG standing firm over Neymar

Paris Saint Germain continue to dismiss rumours about the future of their Brazilian superstar Neymar.

Seemingly almost since the day he arrived from Real Madrid in a world record deal, Neymar has been linked with a move away from the French capital.

A move to Real has long been rumoured, and with Cristiano Ronlado departed for pasture new – fresh Neymar talk refuses to go,

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi admits he is frustrated by constant transfer speculation surrounding the club’s prized asset.

“To be realistic it’s a little frustrating, because it’s not fair that other clubs or someone speak with our players,” the PSG chief said.

“We don’t like [it] at all and we have spoken about it at the time with Real Madrid. We have a good relationship and they respect PSG, I hope it’s true.

“We respect Real Madrid and their president, Florentino Perez, but I think that it’s important for everyone that we do not work behind the scenes. I don’t know if you understand me.

“If there is something it’s better that we always talk, to speak with Florentino Perez or whoever and we say what we like and what we don’t like.

“It’s what we expect of all clubs, not just Real Madrid. Killing each other is not PSG’s way of working and I hope that other clubs don’t do the same thing to us.”

Bookmakers firmly believe that Neymar is destined for the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ladbrokes believe that Neymar is likely to become a Galactico, and is priced at 2/1 along with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Eden Hazard.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “We’re still waiting for Madrid to make a mega-money move and the latest betting suggests Neymar, Mbappe and Hazard are high on the La Liga giants’ wanted list.”
