A punter turned 50p into £61,000 earlier this week after predicting the outcome on 17 football matches.

The bet, placed on a Ladbrokes Betstation terminal, was a combination of Match Results and Both Teams to Score, but the lucky punter has Jayden Stockley and Jordan Taylor-Moore from Exeter to thank for the huge win.

After backing the League Two outfit to beat Crewe away from home, the customer must’ve thought his luck was out when the hosts took the lead in the 88th minute.

But strikes from Stockley and Taylor-Moore in the 92nd and 95th minutes ensured the punter was on to a winner.
