Newcastle United are now odds-on to win the Championship after beating promotion rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.

Brighton had looked on course to record victory after Glenn Murray fired home an early penalty, but two goals in the final ten-minutes won the day for Newcastle.

Momo Diame levelled on 81-minutes before sub Ayoze Perez slid home the winner in the final minute.

Rafa Benitez’s side are now two points ahead of Brighton and eight clear of Huddersfield in third, who they play at the weekend.

BetVictor have now cut Newcastle to 1/2 from 4/6 to win the Championship, with Brighton out to 11/10.
