Real Madrid have been made odds-on favourites to beat Liverpool in the Champions League final.
The Spanish giants made history last season when they became the first side to defend the Champions League in it’s current format, and they are looking to win a third successive title for only the fourth time in history, and the first side since Bayern Munich in the 1970s.
Real Madrid edged passed Bayern to make the final in Kiev, where they will face Liverpool – who defeated Roma on Wednesday.
Five-time winners Liverpool are in their first final since 2007 and they face Madrid in what is a repeat of the 1981 final when the English side won in Paris – but as it stands Bookmakers are backing Real.
Real are 3/4 to win whilst Liverpool are 11/10.
bet365’s Steve Freeth “Real Madrid are marginal favourites for a third successive crown but Liverpool may have seen enough cracks in their Bayern Munich performance to give them confidence for their sixth European success.”
