Bookmakers believe that Harry Redknapp could be set to bolster his Birmingham City squad with a number of his former players.

Redknapp is known for liking players he has worked with previously, and after agreeing to stay at St Andrews after keeping them in the Championship, he is set to go to work on reworking the squad.

Niko Kranjcar is listed as the most likely name to reunite with Redknapp at 7/4, although Stoke’s Peter Crouch is just a 4/1 shot.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “St Andrew’s looks set to play host for a big reunion this summer, and the early signs are suggesting ‘Arry will target Kranjcar and Crouchie before anyone else.”
