Riyad Mahrez is looking to seal a deadline day switch away from Leicester City.

The 26-year-old has been released from Algeria’s national squad in order to facilitate a move.

Mahrez is now back in Europe, understood to be England, as he hopes for a deal to be struck with Leicester City

Mahrez submitted a transfer request earlier this summer, but he has been unable to seal a move with Italian giants Roma failing with numerous bids.

Now Arsenal, Tottenham and Spanish giants Barcelona are all being linked with a late move.

However, it is Chelsea who are favourites to land him at this stage.

Bet365’s Steve Freeth told us: “He may have been given permission to leave Algeria’s training camp but with numerous clubs being backed, nobody seems to be sure where he is heading.”
