After an excellent start to his Manchester United career, Romelu Lukaku has been made new favourite to win the Golden Boot this season.

The £75million striker has bagged three goals in United’s opening two games, and now he has seen his odds cut to become favourite.

Lukaku is now 11/5 with previous favourite Harry Kane – who is looking to land his third consecutive Golden Ball – cut to 7/2 after failing to score in Spurs’ opening two games.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “We had this down as a two-horse race before a ball was kicked this season.

“But Lukaku has flew out the traps while Kane’s wait for a Premier League goal in August goes on.”

New Premier League arrivals, Alvaro Morata and Alexandre Lacazette are both rated at 9/1.
