Ronald Koeman has reiterated that Ross Barkley has no future at Everton.
The England midfielder turned down Everton’s offer of a new contract last season, at which point Toffees boss Koeman insisted that he would be leaving.
Now asked whether he “100 per cent” expects to lose Barkley, Koeman said: “Yes. Yeah.

“His personal situation is not so difficult. We made a really good offer to sign a new contract, he declined that contract and told me he’s looking for a new challenge.
“It’s his decision. I need to respect that and we’ll see what happens, because I heard from the board that there’s not really an offer on the table for Ross.”
TheGamblingTimes.com has confirmed that Tottenham are leading the race to land the 23-year-old and sources have already told us that they are confident of doing a deal.
We spoke to Unibet spokesman Alistair Gill about the Ross Barkley market.
“Odds on Spurs taking him have shortened slightly from 19/20 to 17/20, but as yet we haven’t seen much other movement,” Gill told TheGamblingTimes.com.
“With a seeming lack of concrete interest at home, there could be a small amount of value to be had looking abroad, where former power house AC Milan are holding steady at around 17/1.”
