Cristiano Ronaldo has been made odds-on favourite to land the Puskas Award for 2018 following his sensational strike against Juventus.

Ronaldo inspired Real Madrid to a 3-0 win in Turin in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash.

And it was his second goal that was the stand-out strike, a brilliant over-head kick.

Ronaldo won the inaugural Puskas Award – that is given to the scorer of the year’s best goal – in 2009  and he now looks set to land it again.

Ronaldo is now 1/10 with Betway to scoop the honour, that is a probability of 90%, whilst he is also 5/2 to land the Balon d’Or.
