Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed the birth of his twins, a boy and girl,, and along with their big brother Cristiano Jnr are already being tipped to follow in their father’s footsteps into football.

Ronaldo is currently on international duty with Portugal,  who lost in the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup to Chile on Wednesday evening.

Whilst in Russia, a surrogate has given birth to a twin boy and girl – Ronaldo confirmed via Facebook.

Ronaldo already has a seven-year-old son Cristiano Jnr – who has shown a real talent for football already, with his father sharing numerous videos and posts highlighting his talent.

Now bookmakers are already predicting that the Ronaldo clan could take the football world by storm.

“Despite inheriting talent, many children of sports stars find it hard to get the focus required to be top athletes themselves,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

“But Ronaldo is famous for his work ethic and he could well instil that desire in his offspring.”
