Despite Maurizio Sarri claiming his first trophy as a manager with Chelsea, everything is pointing to him leaving this summer.
The Italian has endured a tough time at Stamford Bridge since being appointed in the summer, and despite finishing third and winning the Europa League – many Chelsea fans have been left less than enamoured with his style of play and tactics.
But Juventus – who are looking to replace Max Allegri – are understood to be huge admirers and want to take him back to Italy.
Sources close to Chelsea have told us that talks are expected between the 60-year-old and Chelsea, which could very well see him head to Turin and the Juventus job.
Leading bookmaker Coral make Sarri odds-on at 5/6 to leave Chelsea before the start of next season.
The Italian is the 2/5 favourite to be become the next Juventus manager, and Frank Lampard is odds-on at 2/5 to replace him at Stamford Bridge.
Coral have installed Chelsea at 25-1 in the 2019/2020 Champions League outright market, while Arsenal are 10-1 to win the 2019/2020 Europa League.
“Although he has finished the season with a trophy at Chelsea, the betting suggests it could be the end of the road for Maurizio Sarri with the London club as he is odds-on to leave before the start of the new Premier League season, and he is the clear favourite for the Juventus job,” said Coral’s John Hill.
