Saturday Premier League Preview

Watford and Manchester City clash on Saturday, and the winner of the game will find themselves on top of the Premier League.

City are only trailing neighbours Manchester United on goal-difference, so indeed a draw would take them to them to the summit – but should Marco Silva guide his side to the three points, then they would find themselves on top.

Tottenham, in fifth, finish the day as they host Swansea at Wembley, still looking for their first league victory at their temporary home – although the midweek win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League should give them added confidence.

Sixth-placed Huddersfield look to return to winning ways following their defeat to West Ham last week as they host Leicester City at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Seventh and eighth meet at Anfield with Burnley taking on Liverpool – who will be looking to get back to winning ways after their hammering at Manchester City.

At the foot of the table, Roy Hodgson makes his return to management as he takes charge of new club Crystal Palace looking for their first points of the season as they host Southampton in the day’s opening game.

Elsewhere, West Brom take on West Ham at The Hawthorns, whilst Newcastle host Stoke City.

See below for a run-down on the game, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray, super agent Barry Silkman and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey  together with everything you need to know from the bookies – with Ladbrokes’s Alex Apati.
