Saturday Premier League Preview

The Premier League returns to action on this weekend with some move water clashes, including leaders Manchester United looking to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.

Jose Mourinho’s side are the only team left with a 100 per cent record and they will be hopeful of a fourth straight win although they face the always tricky prospect of a trip to Stoke City – which is the final match of the day.

The day begins in Manchester with the biggest game of the weekend as Man City host Liverpool at The Etihad. Both teams have enjoyed unbeaten starts to the season and victory for either would send them top, albeit possibly temporarily with United playing later.

West Brom are another side who could find themselves on top at some point on Saturday and they travel to newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion – who are looking for their first win since they returned to the top-flight.

Reigning champions Chelsea travel to the King Power off the back of two impressive wins as they take on Leicester.

Tottenham, who are yet to win at their temporary home of Wembley, are looking to continue their good away form – but face a tough looking task at Everton – who have won just once so far this season.

Watford and Southampton, who have both enjoyed undefeated starts to the new season and both sit on a healthy five points after three games, clash at St Mary’s.

Finally, Arsenal are looking to put a disappointing transfer widow behind them and end a two-game losing streak as they host Bournemouth at The Emirates.

See below for a run-down on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray, leading agent Barry Silkman and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey together with everything you need to know from the bookies – with Ladbrokes’s Alex Apati.
