The odds on Saxon Warrior claiming the Derby have been cut further by Bookmakers.
The 2,000 Guineas winner was already favourite, but his odds are now into 4/6.
The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt saw his odds cut, with the Bookmakers not convinced that his nearest rivals – Roaring Lion, who won the Dante Stakes at York, and Chester Vase winner Young Rascal will be able to live with him.
“Saxon Warrior’s 2,000 Guineas victory was given a big boost by Roaring Lion’s Dante win, but although the latter is currently second favourite for the Investec Derby, he could head to France rather than Epsom, and that uncertainty means punters are taking the odds-on about his Newmarket conqueror,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
