Once Gylfi Sigurdsson’s move to Everton is finalised, that will begin a chain which will see Ross Barkley and Nacer Chadli move on.
Talks over Sigurdsson have progressed and sources believe that will be finalised next week. Once Sigurdsson is completed that will allow then pave the way for two other deals to progress.
Swansea and Everton are closing to finally completing their deal for the 27-year-old which will be for around £50million, and a deal should be announced by Wednesday.
That will then see Swansea finalise their plans for his replacement, and they are already well down the line with a move for Chadli.
The Belgian, who joined West Brom from Tottenham last summer, is set to move for £20million and Tony Pulis has been given the green-light for his exit.
With Sigurdsson in place, that will finally sees Spurs push on with a move for Barkley – and I understand that once Everton have agreed a fee, their will be no problems in finalising personal terms.
Bookmakers firmly believe all three deals will be going forward – the odds on Sigurdsson going through to Everton are 1/10 to sign him and he is 7/1 to stay at The Liberty Stadium.
Chadli is at 2/5 to move to Swansea and 7/4 to stay with The Baggies.
Barkley is as short as Evens to finalise his deal with Tottenham and 5/2 to still be at Everton.
