Snooker punter costs Ladbrokes 100k

A snooker punter has scooped a whopping £100k from Ladbrokes after landing a 15-fold accumulator.

The male customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed the wager late on Sunday evening in his local branch of Ladbrokes in Somerset, which has now left him a cool £100,124.82 richer.

15 snooker players – including the likes of Marco Fu, Barry Hawkins and Ali Carter – needed to emerge victorious in their first round matches at the World Open in China.

Blackpool’s James Cahill stunned the home favourite Liang Wenbo beating him 5-1, however, luckily the Chinese player did not feature as part of his selections.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “This is the biggest snooker accumulator win we’ve ever seen placed on a BetStation. Predicting the wins of 15 games has sent our traders snooker loopy, but we can only applaud this gentleman’s belief.”
