Super League Preview

Leaders Castleford Tigers look to maintain their brilliant run of form this weekend, but they are the last in action in this round.

Bottom-of-the-table Leigh host sixth-placed Wigan, knowing victory will move them back above Widnes – who moved off the foot last week after victory over Catalans.

The Vikings look for back-to-back wins on Friday, as they face a tricky looking trip to St Helens – who only narrowly lost to leaders Castleford last week.

Also on Friday, second place Salford are looking to bounce back from their shock defeat at home to Wakefield last week as they host Hull – who are just three points off them back in fourth.

On Saturday and it is 8th v 9th with Catalans looking to hang on to the final play-off spot as Huddersfield make the journey to the south of France.

Perhaps the game of the weekend takes place at Belle Vue as the real surprise package of the season Wakefield, in fourth, entertain third place Leeds – who they are level on points with.

The final game of the weekend sees Warrington somehow look to try and find some form at Castleford.

See below for every game, including predictions and insight from title sponsors BetFred.

BetFred says: Salford will be determined to bounce back to winning ways but it will be tight against Hull and could be draw but probably home win by four

Salford Red Devils 20:00 Hull FC

BetFred says: Just what Saints need – and will storm to victory in front of home crowd against lowly neighbours Widnes by 16 at least

Saturday 10th June
Catalans Dragons 18:00 Huddersfield Giants

Match odds: Catalans 8/13 Draw 22/1 Huddersfield 7/5
BetFred says: Catalans showing resilience and at home may pull off surprise and bring down Giants narrow home win by two

Wakefield Trinity 19:00 Leeds Rhinos

Match odds: Wakefield 6/4 Draw 25/1 Leeds 8/15

Sunday 11th June
Castleford Tigers 15:30 Warrington Wolves

Match odds: Castleford 1/7 Draw 33/1 Warrington 9/2
BetFred says: Just what embattled Warrington coach Tony Smith didn’t want…away at the undisputed outstanding team of the season so far! Castleford have got to be too strong against team that’s struggling to get it’s act together. Warrington will battle but form will prevail so Smith’s fast-fading stars to  go down in the jungle by eight.
