Super League leaders Castleford Tigers are looking to continue their brilliant run of form which sees them sitting seven points clear at the top of the table.
The Tigers have won eight successive matches, and last week recorded a great win at rivals Leeds.
Their last defeat came against second Hull – who moved back into second place last week thanks to their win over Wakefield – and the two clash this weekend in the undoubted game of the weekend.
The weekend’s round of games opens with a cracker too as fourth-placed Leeds host St Helens in sixth, looking to bounce back from their home loss to The Tigers.
Widnes climbed off the bottom of the league table last weekend with a comprehensive win over Leigh Centurions, but they face a tough prospect at old rivals Wigan – who remain in a lowly eighth.
Should The Vikings fail to win, then Leigh could climb above them again as they travel to the South of France to take on Catalans.
Third placed Salford are in need of a return to form with as they host Huddersfield Giants.
Finally, Wakefield are looking to bounce back to winning ways as they host Warrington Wolves at Belle Vue.
