The undoubted clash of the weekend sees a repeat of last season’s Grand Final as Warrington host Wigan.

We give you a run down of every game from this weekend’s action including an exclusive run through of all the odds with Super League sponsors BetFred and their man Pete Spencer.

Warrington v Wigan – Thursday – 20:00

It’s a repeat of the 2016 Grand Final on Thursday as Warrington Wolves lock horns with Wigan Warriors at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. Champions Wigan triumphed 12-6 at Old Trafford last October and the Warriors have maintained their fine form this season. Shaun Wane’s men possess a 100 percent record having blanked Leigh Centurions last time out while Warrington remain without a point from three outings after losing to Salford Red Devils. If Warrington can show the form that saw them emphatically brush aside Brisbane Broncos they could get their season up and running, but their injury list still sees them without key duo Stefan Ratchford and Chris Hill. Tony Smith has made one change to his squad with Joe Philbin replacing Dom Crosby. Wane is not without problems of his own having lost trio Joe Burgess (knee), Ryan Sutton (eye), and Lewis Tierney (knee) to injury against Leigh. Liam Forsyth, Tom Davies and Romain Navarrete have been called up by the champions.

BETFRED SAYS: Warrington have been poor, but we have been seeing money on them and people are obviously of the belief that Warrington will turn around their season here – but people are certainly coming in and taking the price on Wigan.

Hull v St Helens – Friday – 20:00

Hull FC returned to form by thumping Huddersfield Giants last week and Lee Radford’s men will be out to pile the pressure on out-of-sorts St Helens. Kieron Cunningham’s men have lost three straight after opening their season with success against Leeds. Saints were undone by Jacob Miller’s late penalty try against Wakefield which left them ninth in the standings. By contrast the Black and Whites were on song in thrashing the Giants 48-8 last Thursday. Danny Houghton is in line to make his 250th appearance for the club. Jordan Thompson is expected to deputise for injured captain Gareth Ellis while youngster Masi Matongo should fil in for the suspended Liam Watts. Luke Douglas, Greg Richards and Jack Ashworth all return for the visitors.

TGT SAYS: Hull by 12
BETFRED SAYS: We have seen a lot of money on Hull this week and it is fair to say St Helens have been friendless with us and for us the handicap looks a good bet even at -8.

Leeds v Catalans – Friday – 20:00

BETFRED SAYS: This looks like the best game of the weekend to us but it is a small handicap – and a lot of people are liking some of the aways this week, including this one.

Leigh v Huddersfield – Friday – 20:00

Leigh Centurions will fancy their chances of securing their second win of the campaign when Huddersfield Giants make the short trip along the M62 on Friday. Leigh were blanked 20-0 by Wigan last time out, but they have looked a much stronger proposition on home soil. The Giants do not have the form guide behind them after being hammed by Hull FC last week. A win for Neil Jukes’ Centurions could see them leapfrog Huddersfield in the standings. Jukes has added Adam Higson and Martin Ridyard to his match-day squad while Ukuma Ta’ai is available for the Giants following suspension. Jermaine McGillvary, Leroy Cudjoe and Aaron Murphy could return for the visitors after injury.

TGT SAYS: Leigh by 6
BETFRED SAYS: Leigh are favourites here because they are at home, both doing ‘ok’ but nothing more but we have seen more interest in Leigh for sure.

Wakefield v Salford – Sunday – 15:00

BETFRED SAYS: Salford have surprised us and we always get a lot of business from the Salford fans and they are in confident mood again this week and we have them priced to win this again.

Widnes v Castleford – Sunday – 15:00

MATCH ODDS: Widnes 4/1 Draw 25/1  Castleford 1/5
TGT SAYS: Castleford by 10
BETFRED SAYS: This is probably the only one-sided match we see taking place this week – we can’t see this going anywhere other than a Castleford win and even at the handicap at -16.
