The Super League returns to action this weekend following the Challenge Cup final, and the Super 8s enters the fourth round, with everything still to play for.
Castleford Tigers have already secured top-spot and the League Winners’ Shield and they will already have their minds on the play-odds, despite four matches remaining. The Tigers face a trip to Huddersfield this weekend, who although in eighth place are just three points off fourth place and the final play-off sport.
Leeds in second have all but secured their place in the top-four, but they face an intriguing match-up with Challenge Cup winners Hull FC at Headingley on Thursday. Victory for the East Yorkshire outfit would put them to within a point of the Rhinos.
The battle for fourth looks set to go down to the wire, and currently in the driving seat are Wakefield Trinity – who are a point clear of St Helens and Wigan, and a further point ahead of Salford.
Wakefield entertain Salford this weekend, whilst St Helens host bitter rivals Wigan.
