It’s fair to say they were arguably unlucky then, and despite Castleford’s win against the massively out-of-sorts Warrington, the Red Devils should be too strong and could win this by the 10 points margin they did last time the two met.

St Helens vs Wigan Warriors

Betfred says: The key here is that Saints have had a lengthy rest as a reward for wining top of the tree in the Betfred Super League, while Wigan had an energy-sapping affair against Salford last week. Adrian Lam’s side have done exactly what they did last season in starting very modestly to finish very strongly, but Saints may well have too much for them here and could win by 8 points.
