Sprinters have the Beverley Bullet in mind for this weekend and Take Cover won this race last year.
David Griffiths’ solid sprinter wouldn’t want the ground too soft but he has a huge chance of following up. Take Cover is also lined up in Ireland but realistically the Nunthorpe is the line of form to watch after a sixth place effort.
Elnadim Star is a filly who won a Listed race at Ayr most recently. She is unexposed and a good filly with bags of promise. However, Take Cover is the one to beat.
The Solario Stakes is seven furlongs of competitiveness.
John Gosden’s Too Darn Hot won on debut at Sandown by a strikingly impressive distance.
Martyn Meade’s Confiding is only two starts into his career, so could feasibly improve but perhaps price wise Arthur Kitt is more the one to focus on. He has won both starts including the Chesham and that is well worth respecting. Watan is fully one to consider too, but realistically it’s all to play for.
It is a wide open weekend of racing!
