Tiger Woods set for return

Tiger Woods is playing his first full PGA Tour event since 2015 this week, but despite his time away he is being backed for success in 2018.

Woods is rated at around 20/1 to land this week’s Farmers Insurance Open – but the real interest is what he could do for the rest of the year.

He is 6/1  to add to his 14 major titles in 2018, and he is 22/1 to land the first major of the year – The Masters.

Lawrence Lyons, Spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Torrey Pines has been a happy hunting ground for Tiger having won 8 times there, so perhaps it’s no surprise to see him backed for a return to the winners’ enclosure this week.”

He added: “Knowing Tiger’s history he will no doubt have an eye on the four big ones and the 6/1 about a 15th major this season won’t be around for long if he shows any sort of form at the Farmers Insurance Open this week.”
