The result at Anfield had the most impact with Liverpool cut to 33/1 from 50s for the title – and they remain ahead of Arsenal and United to finish in the top-four, who remain the outsiders for a top-four finish despite their wins – according to the bookmakers.
Speaking about the battle at the top of the Premier League, BetVictor’s Jack Milner said: “Wins for the trio of Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal see all three sides cut for both the Premier League Title, and indeed the Betting Without Chelsea.
“BetVictor make Man City the 6/4 favourites to chase home the Blues at the top of the table but wins for three of the chasing pack sees Liverpool cut to 9/2 after beating Spurs 2-0 on Merseyside.
“Spurs’ defeat sees them ease to 3/1 from 7/4, and likewise on the drift to achieve a top four finish; 4/11 from 2/9 to finish in the top quartet.”
