The 25-year-old, who scored nine goals last season, has made it clear to Burnley that he will not sign a new deal and with just 12-months left, they know they could lose him for free next summer.
Everton, who are close to finalising a deal for Malaga’s Sandro Ramirez, want more attacking options and Gray has emerged as a big target for Ronald Koeman’s side.
Indeed The Toffee are now odds-on to land Gray and BetVictor list him at 4/6. We spoke with BetVictor’s Head of antepost Football Michael Triffitt about the market surrounding Gray.
“Everton remain strong favourites at 4/6 to capture Burnley forward Andre Gray this summer,” he said.
“The Former Luton and Brentford front man has made the step up to the Premier League and this exciting attacking player is seen as a good fit at Goodison.”
