Tottenham Hotspur crashed out of the Europa League after being Belgian outfit Gent claimed a 2-2 draw at Wembley – meaning they lost 3-2 on aggregate.
Spurs were regarded as one of the favourites to win the tournament, and they started the match well with Danish star Christian Eriksen giving them the lead just 10-minutes in which levelled the tie overall.
Then after 20-minutes Harry Kane headed home – but unfortunately for Tottenham at the wrong end, which meant Spurs would need to score another two goals.
It's fair to say there'll be no complaints about that red card for Dele Alli…. #THFC pic.twitter.com/aTdoPrYHRd

This task was made the more difficult when Dele Alli was red carded for a shocking challenge on Brecht Dejaegere just before half-time.
Victor Wanyama’s thumping effort on the hour did give Spurs some real hope and they pushed for the third.
But it was not to be as Jeremy Prebet – who scored the only goal in the first-leg – struck with eight minutes remaining to send Genk into the last 16.
Tottenham’s defeat has seen Manchester United – who were already favourites – cut further to win the tournament to 2/1 with BetVictor from 11/4.
