Tottenham and English clubs slashed for European glory

Tottenham Hotspur have seen their odds cut for the Champions League, but Bookmakers have now made an English winner the most likely scenario.

Premier League are enjoying a a brilliant season in Europe. Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham are all unbeaten in the Group Stages, whilst Chelsea remain on course for the knockout stages – despite defeat to Roma this week.

Now with so much English interest likely in the last 16 – Bookmakers now believe the likelihood of a Premier League captain lifting the trophy in Kiev next summer is just 7/4, and an all English final is now 13/2 with bet365.

On the back of their brilliant win over Real Madrid on Wednesday, Spurs have also seen their overall odds of winning cut to 16/1 – having been as big as 40/1 earlier in the summer.
