PaddyPower’s Inside Trader gets busy the day before Pancake Day…
This Robin Brisland charge made a very encouraging start for his new yard last time over course and distance and a reproduction of that effort should see him go very close here as there’s no standout horse to beat. Capla Spirit will be the main danger but the six furlongs they’ll face here might stretch him judged on his last run at Southwell on Valentine’s Day when he was beaten into second by favourite Rodin.
That form shouldn’t intimidate Big Impact and he can live up to the name by forcing his way into the winner’s enclosure.

Before Cool Possibility ran at Newcastle on Friday you wouldn’t have given him much of a chance in this but the Rebecca Menzies-trained runner’s win of a jumpers bumper makes him appeal a lot more now. Michael Wigham’s Accessor will be tough to beat having won twice since the turn of the year, but he is now 5lbs higher than when victorious on February 18 so that may stop him in his bid to follow up.
I’m hoping Cool Possibility will make it two wins in four days on Monday instead.
