Manchester United are odds-on favourites to claim the FA Cup, ahead of Chelsea.
United booked their place in the final with a hard fought 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Saturday – giving Jose Mourinho the chance to claim his fourth FA Cup, his first with The Red Devils.
Chelsea moved into their second successive final, after a 2-0 win over Southampton – to set-up what will be a third meeting between these two clubs in an FA Cup final.
United won their first meeting in 1994, and then Chelsea won in 2007 – under Mourinho.
Bookmakers now make Mourinho odds-on to come out on top against his former club.
Betfred’s Pete Spencer said: “Manchester United are the 5/6 favourites at Betfred to win the FA Cup – and match Arsenal’s record of having won the world’s most famous knock-out competition on 13 occasions.
“Jose Mourinho showed his big match tactical genius pay off in the 2-1 defeat of Spurs in Saturday’s semi-final…helped by a dramatic upsurge in form of high-profile signing Alexis Sanchez who headed the equaliser at Wembley.
“Chelsea meanwhile are Evens to lift the cup after a straight-forward 2-0 semi final win over relegation-haunted Southampton.”
