Watford pilling pressure on Bookmakers

Watford’s brilliant start to the new season has forced Bookmakers to act.

The Hornets were one of the favourites for relegation before the season started and their boss Javi Gracia was the initial favourite in the Premier League sack race – but not anymore.

Things have been turned on their head with Watford’s brilliant start to the new season as they have won their opening four games and sit proudly at the top of the Premier League alongside Liverpool adn Chelsea – who also possess 100% records.

Gracia admits he is delighted with how things have gone so far, including their most recent win over Tottenham – which ended their perfect start to the new campaign.

“I am, very happy, like all of the Watford fans. We are enjoying the moment, to win four games in a row is not easy, and we try to keep our level in the next games,” said Gracia.

Bookmakers have now been forced to slash their title odds – having been 750/1 they are now just 200/1.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: ““For those who think Watford can emulate Leicester’s 2015/16 heroics, the Hornets have been slashed from 750/1 to 200/1 for Premier League glory following their fourth straight win.”
