32Red’s Sponsorship manager Jack Milner delivers a weekly verdict on each tournament.
Golf’s big-hitters descend on The Canadian Open with Rory McIlroy joining Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson north of the border.
They offer little value at single figures, with Webb Simpson looking the value around the 22/1 mark. Webb is winless since going wire-to-wire last year at Sawgrass however, played well in both Majors this year (T5 at Augusta and T29 in the US Open) and boasts the tee-to-green game to play well around in Ontario.
At bigger prices, I like both Henrik Stenson and Bubba Watson at 28/1 and 33s respectively. Bubba should be refreshed returning from a short break, whereas Stenson remains consistent on tour and will surely get his head back in front once it all clicks for The Iceman.
