OVERVIEW: The Wyndham Championship is now the last chance to make the FedEx Cup play-offs, and the field is a strong one – but not great.

Webb Simpson is the early favourite, whilst Brandt Snedeker is the defending champion – having famously shot a 59 on his way to victory here last year.

Our resident golf expert is Cliff Jackson. Cliff is a leading youth coach and PGA professional at the famed Seaton Carew Links – one of the oldest courses in the world.

Not the greatest line-up we will see but still some real class on show, and there are big FedEx Cup points up for the grabs.

For me, you have to go each-way on Brandt Snedeker – he clearly adores this track having shot at 59, but that also means the others can get to the Sedgefield County Club course, so my other picks this week would be for Jordan Spieth – he is due and that commitment can never be doubted.
