What will happen first?

Man City head Betway’s ‘What Will Happen First?’ market for the new season at 6/4 to win any game by five or more goals.

While Man Utd scoring their 2000th Premier League goal, 7/4, or Frank Lampard to be axed, 13/2, are both seen as feasible alternatives.

Harry Maguire, acquired by Man Utd, is placed at 6/1 to score with his head before any of the other outcomes. His old side Sheffield United are involved in the next option, with promoted sides placed at 16/1 with the leading online bookmaker to beat one of the ‘big six’.

Mo Salah is at 22/1 to score 20 goals before any of the other outcomes, with a goal scored from a team’s own half priced at 50/1.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Manchester City look sure to dish out another thrashing this season and we go 6/4 for them to win by a five-goal margin before any of the other options in our ‘What Will Happen First?’ market.

“The market includes the likelihood of Manchester United notching 11 more league goals to hit 2000 before any of the other options at 7/4, while Lampard getting the boot from Chelsea at 13/2 or Harry Maguire scoring a header have outside chances of occurring first at 6/1.”
