What does the future hold for Liverpool’s calamitous goalkeeper Loris Karius?
The German goalkeeper produced one of the worst displays ever as he gifted Real Madrid two goals in their 3-1 loss in the Champions League final.
Karius was quick to take to social media to apologise for his display, and said: “I’m infinitely sorry to my team-mates, for you fans, and for all the staff.”
Haven’t really slept until now… the scenes are still running through my head again and again… I'm infinitely sorry to my teammates, for you fans, and for all the staff. I know that I messed it up with the two mistakes and let you all down… pic.twitter.com/w9GixPiQDC

Bookmakers are already pricing up his future, and they think he will be staying put – with PaddyPower making him 4/9 to stay put and 13/8 to leave.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Karius clearly had a difficult night on Saturday, and his future at Liverpool is uncertain.
“They are now odds-on to replace him with Jack Butland. They may want rid of Karius, but whether they’ll find a buyer is another matter entirely.”
