Manchester United have confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be playing for them next season and he is odds-on to move to America.

The brilliant Swede had an excellent debut season in England with 28 goals before he suffered a knee cruciate injury which rules him out of the final weeks of the season.

United have now confirmed that Ibrahimovic is not getting a new deal, but he will remain with the club whilst he gets fully fit, and that is expected to be by the end of the year.

His agent Mino Raiola insists that the 35-year-old will stay in Europe, but sources in America have confirmed they are pushing very hard for the player – who will be fit just in time for the new MLS season next year.
