Tottenham Hotspur are close to sealing a deal for Paris Saint Germain winger Lucas Moura.

The Brazilian has been targeted by a host of clubs, but made it clear to PSG that he wanted to join Spurs and Maurcio Pochettino.

Spurs had been looking to seal an initial loan deal, but PSG only wanted to sell with an asking price of around £25million.

Tottenham have now agreed for a permanent deal, and Lucas is now set for a medical in London ahead of sealing a move.

Spurs have not commented, but sources close to the club are confident they can seal their first big breakthrough of the transfer window.

Bookmakers have taken down their markets on Lucas joining Spurs.
