Theo Walcott has been told that he can leave Arsenal this month, on loan or permanently.
We revealed in September that the England forward would be made available, unless he could forge his way back into the first-team picture at The Emirates – something which he has been unable to do.
The 28-year-old has 18-months left on his current deal, and given he is on over £100,00-a-week – the chances are he will be leaving on loan, and he is not short of offers.
Former club Southampton, Everton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Watford are amongst the clubs keen on landing him.
Arsenal sources have confirmed that Walcott will be left to decide where he would like to move, although he does have the option of staying and fighting for his place at The Emirates – which has not been discounted as an option.
Bookmakers firmly believe that Walcott will be back at St Mary’s by the end of the month with BetVictor making him 1/3 to join Southampton.
